Microloan Foundation

The Microloan Foundation, which last year made 30,000 loans with a 99% on time, in full repayment rate, was founded in 1999 in Malawi with just one employee. It has now grown to have 17 offices in Malawi and is expanding into Namibia, Zambia and Mozambique.

MLF's Mozambique operation funded by Arcubus will see an additional 4 grass roots outreach microfinance offices established in Niassa to serve the rural poor. This will enable them to access credit to invest in and grow their businesses.
