Opportunity International

Opportunity International, the UK's biggest microfinance charity, will, with Arcubus’ help, build 4 new bank branches in Niassa, in northern Mozambique. There are currently just 6 bank branches in Niassa, a province the size of England. These projects will operate with biometric fingerprint technology so that even those who are illiterate will not be excluded. For the first time, poor people struggling to make a living in Niassa will be able to save, borrow and buy insurance.
